Driven by a love of the natural beauty that surrounds us, I have been capturing my interpretation of that beauty through my photographs for over 30 years. If an image elicits a positive emotional response from a viewer then I?ve met with success. Sharing my vision of our world in a unique style to create an appreciation and concern for nature and our environment, is a large part of the motivation behind my love of photography.

 

I am a member of the Loudoun Arts Council, the Blandy Photography Club and I have displayed my work in local contests, venues and galleries. With a extensive background in art, my migration to photography seemed a natural one. And recently with the digital revolution in photography my artistic needs have been jump started like never before. Having control over the whole photographic process gives more of a traditional art ?feel? to my work.

 

There are many photographers and artists who have inspired me over the years. Their inspiration and creativity have pushed me beyond being the photographer who was thrilled in documenting beauty such as sunsets, to one who takes a road less traveled by giving my own, unique, interpretation of that beauty.

 

My wife and I currently live in Lovettsville in Western Loudoun County.
